Can anyone answer this question for me? I have a 32″ 720p hdtv. I am running composite and I am thinking about buying an hdmi cable for my xbox 360. Will this make a difference or would I have to own a 108p hdtv for it to look any better?
well my xbox came with one and im using another one that i bought for my ps3 and some other exstra one for the ps3 well there not a differince but if you want to there some like 20 dollers so yeah
My TV is 720p and it looks MUCH better with component than HDMI… the HDMI looks kind of pixelated unless I change to a resolution that stretches off the screen. So I cant get a quality signal with HDMI, I have messed with ALL settings on the xbox and my tv… it sucks but yea component looks great for now, but I would like to get the issue resolved.
Hi as I said before I was using my 720p. I just got a full hdtv and I am currently using vga. Do you think it will make a difference to use hdmi now that i have a monitor capable of 1080p?
my tv supports 1080p but still im using 720p find it crispier .. didnt test on many games just forza 3 and gta 4 .. was better on 720p … my 360 doesnt have hdmi (still from launch).
i dont see the real differences only on 1080p .. i find that i see some pixels .. not sure though .. have a Samsung SyncMaster 2333 HD ..
should i buy a new 360 with hdmi output ?
please help
HDMI FTW
Component is 720p
No, no, no! Component can also do 1080p.

@heavymetalpunkrock Im pretty sure your settings will improve a little bit but unfortunatly to get 1080p u need a tv capable of :/
console to component to digital tv does two digital to analog conversions and does result in quality loss
what would it look like if i connect the HDMI and no AV cable? because my AV cable wont fit and my HDMI cable will
